Mid-handicap everyman reviews

Mixed

feel-wise for the everyday golfer... it's a decent option

One of the softest, best-feeling balls he's tested at 17 pounds a dozen, but launch-monitor numbers were too inconsistent to recommend on performance.

+ the facts · 4 pros · 5 cons
  • +Incredibly soft feel, one of the better feeling balls they've tested
  • +Very cheap (about 17 pounds a dozen, cheaper in a two-pack)
  • +Doesn't feel cheap in hand; good thick alignment line
  • Very inconsistent ball speeds, spin and distances with irons and driver
  • Two-piece with a very thin cover that discolored and scuffed from bunker shots
  • Strange dipping ball flight, badly affected by wind

For: Everyday golfers bothered more about price than performance
