Loved it

It's literally like cheating. These are very good.

Srixon's new 2026 game-improvement iron feels like a premium forged club, goes a long way without ballooning stupidly, and had him calling it literally like cheating and potentially the most underrated iron of 2026.

+ the facts · 7 pros · 4 cons
  • +Feels incredible, as good as a proper premium forged iron, thanks to the new i-alloy steel that is softer than 431
  • +MainFrame face keeps ball speed on mishits while dampening sound
  • +Long but not embarrassingly so: 4-iron 221 total, 8-iron 162, PW 139, with decent low-6000s spin
  • Offset occasionally pulled a shot left for him
  • Bad strikes still cost around 15 yards
  • Strong lofts mean gapping into your wedges needs thought

For: Mid to high handicappers, like a 12 handicapper with no single-figure ambitions, who want forgiveness and distance without losing shot-making

Lukewarm

You're just ultimately buying a four for clout to say, I have a forged iron.

The forged ZXi 4-iron is questioned as pointless now that the ZXiR range, especially the HL, covers nearly every golfer.

+ the facts · 1 pros · 2 cons
  • +Forged construction
  • Offers no real benefit over the ZXiR for the target golfer
  • No HL option available

For: Golfers who just want to own a forged iron rather than for performance.
