Loved it

the putter that I seem to be doing a lot better with and can't miss

The surprise of the test; the Odyssey #7-style shape sat flatter to his eye and he could barely miss, making it his pick of the new Spider range.

+ the facts · 3 pros · 1 cons
  • +Sat better to his eye than Rory's Tour X
  • +Fantastic feel from the Pure Roll insert with great speed control
  • +Holed putt after putt with it on camera
  • Less exciting shape than the headline Spider

For: Golfers who loved the classic Odyssey #7-style wing mallet

Liked it

this is the best looking visually to me

TaylorMade finally nails the classic wing-back fang shape, and it was the best looking of the lineup to the fitter with a great face feel and generous toe hang.

+ the facts · 4 pros
  • +Best looking model of the lineup to the fitter's eye
  • +Executes the classic fang/wing-back shape better than past attempts like the Ardmore
  • +Extra shape lines aid alignment

For: Slight-arc strokes wanting a fang-style mallet with blade-like feel.
