Loved it

What more could you ask from a mini driver?

A big-time entry into the mini driver category: bigger than the GT280 at 300cc, sits dead square, runs 1.48-1.49 smash off the tee, and produced an absurd 0.7-yard carry deviation off the deck.

+ the facts · 7 pros
  • +Very fast, 1.48-1.49 smash off the tee and 1.47 even off the deck, ball speed approaching 160
  • +Ridiculously tight off-the-deck consistency, carries of 246-248 with 0.7-yard deviation
  • +Low spin for a mini driver, low 3,000s on good strikes

For: Golfers who hit 3-wood off the tee a lot and want more forgiveness, especially steeper players who need spin taken off

Loved it

this is the best I've hit anything off the deck by far

A 305cc mini driver that's outrageously consistent and the best he's hit off the deck, though not a must-upgrade over the GT280.

+ the facts · 5 pros · 1 cons
  • +Bigger 305cc head feels more forgiving and confidence-inspiring
  • +Excellent dispersion and shot-to-shot consistency
  • +Superb off the deck as a three-wood replacement
  • Not enough of an upgrade to justify switching from the GT280

For: Golfers wanting a forgiving mini driver to send off the tee and hit off the deck.

Liked it

It's not a million miles away from driver.

A larger, more forgiving 305cc mini driver that trades 10-15 yards for more control and accuracy, a strong option if you fight the big stick.

+ the facts · 5 pros · 2 cons
  • +Larger 305cc head is more forgiving with higher MOI on mishits
  • +Very accurate and controllable off the tee
  • +Shorter 43.5 inch shaft and 13 degrees add control
  • Lower club head speed and roughly 10-15 yards shorter than the driver
  • Weight-forward setting can be less forgiving on off-center strikes

For: Golfers who struggle with driver control and would trade some distance for finding the fairway more often.
