James Robinson Golf
Mid-handicap everyman reviews
“performance-wise, it really does work outstandingly well”
Number two budget iron of 2025 and nearly the winner: a hollow-bodied, almost blade-like design with a forged face that performs outstandingly well, held back only by price.
+ the facts · 3 pros · 3 cons− the facts
- +Hollow-body tech with forged face gives feel, workability and help all at once
- +Huge range of specs and options, with proper fitting available in some locations
- +Would have been number one if it were £100 cheaper
- −More expensive than the other budget picks
- −Own-brand shafts and grips rather than name components
- −Blade length slightly longer than a standard blade
For: Golfers who want a premium-feeling hollow-body blade look on a mid-tier budget
